- The Olympic Torch Parade The only segment where the Torch was carried on skis occurred on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at the Canmore Nordic Centre around 4:30 pm. A total of twenty skiers of all ages on skis each carried the Torch for about 100 metres.
