Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame has transitioned from a physical museum to digital one with a focus of curating experiences, content and stories that are reaching far beyond our walls and providing us with the opportunity to reach millions across this nation.
We remain committed to our mission – educating all Canadians on the value, history, and culture of sport in this country – and we are proud to expand the ways in which we are doing so, in the classroom, in the community, and in recognizing role models.
Each year a new group of Canadians are awarded the Order of Sport, marking their induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. The Order of Sport recognizes remarkable Athletes, Builders, and Trailblazers, including a number of cross-country skiers, who have conquered challenges, shattered records, and inspired generations.
